Welcome! Les Ross Here! I have been involved in direct marketing most of my life. I worked in direct marketing thirty years for one of the world’s largest telecommunication corporations. Marketing, as they say, “is in my blood”.
My background in direct marketing led me to believe that it would make it easy for me to succeed with Internet marketing. Boy was I surprised! When I started out I knew very little about marketing on the Internet. The biggest thing I discovered about starting an internet marketing business has been the lack of any step by step instruction for building an online business. I realized recently that I had spent a large amount of time and money doing things wrong. As in direct marketing, there is a path to success and a path to failure. I was on the wrong path.
Success with any type of endeavor requires training and guidance. The only guidance I found was people guiding themselves to my check book. It was at this point I remembered that had it not been for some very giving people I would have never succeeded in direct marketing. I decided to do two things. First was to learn the step by step process necessary to build and market an Internet business and then to give this information to others. With the first step completed, I have move on to the second step.
I have developed a website, BeginnerInternetMarketing.net, which provides a step by step guide to building an online presents with a website. This blog is the final part of step two. It is here to provide quick updates, a place for new marketers to ask questions and too inter-react with other new marketers.
Both our website and blog are dedicated to helping others start and succeed with their own online business. With that thought in mind I hope you will find the knowledge you will need to develop and succeed with your online business.
